What We Do

The Sexual Assault Crisis Center (SACC) was established in 2008 and focuses on three primary areas of intervention:

Service Provision

SACC offers specialized support to those affected by sexual violence, encompassing social, psychological, and legal assistance. A 24/7 hotline is also available at (+37477991280).

Awareness and prevention

The SACC conducts awareness-raising and training courses, as well as meetings for representatives of various groups. Considering the importance of adoption of sensitive and victim-centered approaches by helping professionals, trainings have been organized for police officers, investigators, judges, social workers, psychologists and other professionals.
Awareness campaigns are conducted with students, parents, women of various ages and others, including through social media, with the aim of preventing incidents of sexualized violence and making our services more accessible.

Advocacy

The objectives of the advocacy activities of the SACC are as follows: break the silence, improve the legal and judicial systems, promote the introduction of state support programs, effective mechanisms to prevent sexual harassment in educational institutions and workplaces, and a nationwide response system.
Our goal is to create an environment where every person who has been subjected to sexualized violence will feel safe to talk about what happened to them and to demand a fair trial.
