The reason for the establishment of the Sexual Assault Crisis Center was the sexualized violence incidence among young women and the gap in support services in the country, which the Sexual Assault Crisis Center came to fill.<br \/>\nThe Sexual Assault Crisis Center is an organization guided by feminist principles, with its activities aimed at supporting and protecting the rights of victims of sexualized violence. [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.4&#8243; text_text_color=&#8221;#333333&#8243; _i=&#8221;1&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.0.1&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Vision<\/h2>\n<p>To have an environment based on the principles of equality, non-discrimination and respect for dignity.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.4&#8243; text_text_color=&#8221;#333333&#8243; _i=&#8221;2&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.0.2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Mission<\/h2>\n<p>To contribute to the introduction of gender-sensitive public policies and the empowerment of victims of sexualized violence. [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.4&#8243; text_text_color=&#8221;#333333&#8243; _i=&#8221;3&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.0.3&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Our major achievements<\/h2>\n<p>Thanks to the long-term work and efforts of the SACC, the issue of sexualized violence in the Republic of Armenia is being raised and is on the agenda.<br \/>\nAdoption of draft amendments to the articles under Chapter 18 of the RA Criminal Code &#8220;Crimes against sexual freedom and sexual integrity&#8221; \/December 2014\/.<br \/>\nThe SACC also contributed to adding the ban on sexual harassment in workplace in the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia \/July 2023\/.
