Rape: Rape is any non-consensual vaginal, anal, or oral penetration with the penis, other bodily part, or an object. Like other forms of sexualized violence, it can be committed by a stranger or an acquaintance, regardless of the nature of the relationship.
Marital rape: Marital rape is one committed by the spouse or the partner. It is a sexual act against the will of the partner and has the following forms: obtaining uninformed consent through trickery or manipulation or forcing the partner to participate in acts which they consider unacceptable, or violent sexual assaults accompanied by beatings and other actions that cause pain.
Sexual harassment: Sexual harassment is any unwanted comment, gesture, or action of a sexual nature that causes the other person to feel fear, shame, or discomfort. Sexual harassment can be verbal or non-verbal. Some of the manifestations of sexual harassment include initiating conversations about sexuality, touching different parts of a person’s body, making dirty jokes and offers, showing or sending videos of sexual nature, sending nude photos, using sexual slurs, etc.
Indecent exposure in a public place: Most often, the person who commits this type of sexualized violence has prepared in advance. He knows where he should be, what clothes he should wear to be able to carry out the action when he will be passing by women (it is mostly committed against women and girls).
Secret observing: This type of sexualized violence is committed when the other person is naked, changing clothes, taking a bath and in other settings.
